The client used a paper-based system that was time-consuming and included many intricate sub-procedures within a single frame.

Bunduq was facing difficulties converting PTW to electronic format. As most Industries followed a paper-based permit-to-work system, many players in the EHS field offered a system-based solution with a predefined software structure. These solutions were not open to accommodating users’ requirements; instead, the users had to adapt their systems.

The client was using a based system that included many intricate sub-procedures within a single frame and was time-consuming.

The paper-based permit life cycle was predefined. Because it was done manually, it was difficult to track the permit status, as the approving authority at Bunduq had no tool for checking the status of various permits. The client also faced difficulty referencing old permits, as they had to search them from the stack of papers.

Their biggest challenge was replacing the existing Paper-based PTW systems with electronic systems.

Our experts designed and developed an ‘Electronic System’ that simplified the otherwise complex system and flawlessly fulfilled all its aims. The technical team developed customized PTW software with extra certificates, including Electrical Isolation, Mechanical Isolation, Radiography, Wellhead Handover, Confined Space Entry, Diving, and Hot Work and Cold Work permits.

TECH EHS training team provided on-site training for Bunduq Offshore users to ensure efficient software usage, effectively replicating the paper-based system with electronic signatures.
