The accidents due to electrical hazards can cause severe injuries. Every year, there are many injuries and deaths recorded at workplaces due to various hazards associated with it.
Electrocution is considered to be the second major cause of death at construction sites. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), every year, nearly 3,708 non-fatal injuries due to electrical accidents are recorded, of which, 90 are severe.
