Crane Operation & Inspection

Welcome to our Crane Operation & Inspection e-learning module, where we prioritize safety and efficiency in handling loads within manufacturing industries. This critical task carries inherent risks, leading to numerous accidents. While advanced technology and safety systems have been developed, significant safety issues persist for Operators, Riggers, and Supervisors involved in crane operations.

Throughout this training, participants will gain vital knowledge on different types of overhead cranes, including single girder, double girder, gantry, monorail, and Jib crane. We emphasize safe operation practices and pre-operational inspection procedures to minimize risks.

The main hazards associated with crane operation and maintenance include crane failure, rigging failure, falls of personnel and materials from height, collisions with loads or hooks, electrocution, fire, and crane-to-crane collisions.

Participants will learn to perform pre-operational inspections of cranes and lifting tools and tackles before each shift, ensuring that any defects are promptly reported and addressed. It is imperative never to operate a defective crane to maintain safety standards.

Join us as we equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to operate cranes safely and conduct thorough inspections, ultimately minimizing accidents and promoting a safer work environment.

We recently engaged TECH EHS for addressing some of the challenges we face while training workmen globally. We found their understanding of EHS and safety procedures, to be exceptional. The team’s ability to create safety animation videos independently was a key differentiator that we experienced in our several conversations with them. Their ability to understand the intricate processes and seamlessly translate them into animation was a key achievement. Thank you TECH EHS!
