Solution

Comprehensive eLearning module on Safe Operation and Maintenance of Highways and Expressway Activities.

Challenge

  • Training for diverse field teams across multiple regions.
  • High-risk work zones needed visual and situation-based learning.
  • Covering critical topics such as work permit systems, vegetation control safety, and emergency management.
  • Scalable training accessible on digital devices for widespread workforce engagement.

Adani RMRW (Roads, Metro, Railways & Water), a division of Adani Enterprises Ltd., plays a key role in India’s infrastructure expansion, managing large-scale expressways, metro corridors, and waterway projects across the country.

Their Highways Operation & Maintenance (O&M) division ensures the safety, efficiency, and longevity of critical transport infrastructure, handling everything from pavement repairs and lighting systems to patrolling operations and emergency management.

With thousands of workers and engineers deployed across vast stretches of highways, our client required a uniform, scalable, and interactive safety training solution that could reach every team member, regardless of location.

As an established TECH EHS client, Adani’s O&M leadership team requested that we address several training and safety communication gaps across their highway projects. They needed a digital approach that could ensure consistent understanding and compliance for all ground staff, supervisors, and maintenance contractors.

Solution

  • Covered activities for routine maintenance topics
  • Visual walkthroughs demonstrated correct procedures and safe work setups
  • Included maintenance best practices
  • Detailed safety aspects of structural and drainage management
  • Knowledge retention through visual, scenario-based learning.

To address the above challenges, TECH EHS collaborated closely with Adani RMRW to design a 55-minute comprehensive eLearning module on Safe Operation and Maintenance of Highways and Expressway Activities.

The course was developed in English, with the flexibility to be extended to other Indian languages for broader inclusivity. It combined real-life visuals, 2D-3D animations, scenario-based simulations, and assessment modules to ensure every learner could grasp, visualize, and apply safe work practices effectively.
