Traditional in-person training sessions for personnel became unfeasible in light of restrictions on gatherings and the necessity for safe distancing measures. The organization’s primary method of imparting training had previously relied on classroom sessions utilizing PowerPoint presentations. To adapt swiftly to the evolving circumstances, the immediate solution entailed implementing online learning methodologies within their existing framework.

Directed by the Head of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) overseeing operations at the unit, there was a clear directive to introduce training modules encompassing five critical topics: Work at Height Standard (Fall Prevention), Confined Space Entry, Electrical Safety, LOTOTO (Lockout Tagout), and Machine Guarding, alongside Defensive Driving practices.

This proactive approach aimed to ensure the continuous education and preparedness of personnel in critical safety protocols despite the challenges posed by current circumstances.

A streamlined and user-friendly course navigation system has yielded minimal confusion among learners, facilitating seamless training experiences.

A significant initiative is the development and integration of six industry-specific and highly impactful eLearning programs within the customer’s Learning Management System (LMS).

Comprehensive tracking metrics encompass various aspects, including:

  • Enumeration of registered users, delineating between active and inactive statuses.
  • Compilation of the total number of course assignments for both active and inactive users.
  • Monitoring the status of all courses, discerning between completion and incompleteness for active and inactive users.
  • Identification of courses initiated by learners, along with those pending initiation.
  • Assessment of total time invested in active courses by active and inactive users.
  • Recognition of achievements through the attainment of badges by active course participants.
  • Documentation of user performance, denoting successful and unsuccessful course completions, and subsequent certificate downloads for successful completions.
  • The provision of downloadable reports in Excel offers enhanced flexibility for in-depth analysis and documentation.
