Despite having detailed SOPs and safety manuals in place, the actual understanding of procedures on the ground was still lacking, particularly when it came to training contractors, employees, and field technicians on the communication tower erection process.

The core issue? Visual clarity.

Teams in the field found it challenging to interpret text-heavy manuals, particularly for high-risk tasks like H-Pole erection. The complexity of the process, often involving multiple subcontractors (both in-house and outsourced), varied rooftop conditions, and manual reading of step-by-step actions in SOPs, made it challenging to ensure that everyone followed the same safe method, regardless of their role or experience. Everyone had their way of interpreting the printed SOPs, which led to confusion.

Although each team was putting in effort, they weren’t always on the same page. With in-house staff and outsourced crews working side by side, inconsistencies in training, communication gaps, and differing interpretations of safety instructions for erecting communication towers and other activities often crept in.

Crest needed a solution that would eliminate confusion and unify training across all teams and sites.

These high-impact safety films were designed to train field teams, partner supervisors, and engineers on standardized procedures and safety protocols for telecom pole erection.

For example, a complete walkthrough of safe and efficient H-Pole rooftop erection, from component segregation and tool pre-checks to anchoring, lifting, and post-installation verification, was brought to life.

Clear, visual, step-by-step safety storytelling was accessible to every engineer, every technician, on any device, in any location. Through engaging narration and animated metaphors, the videos not only illustrated what to do but also reinforced a culture of care, vigilance, and shared responsibility.
